Stem cells relieve arthritis pain in Barney

These are the great stories I love to come across. Sarah Perham had her dog Barney treated with stem cells, and the results were so amazing to her, she started a website and blog about her dog’s stem cell procedure.

Her website, www.luckypuppydog.com, chronicles Barney’s battle with hip dysplasia and her valiant efforts to try everything out there to relieve Barney’s arthritis pain- ultimately finding Dr. Bratton of Holt Veterinary Clinic who treated Barney with his stem cells.

If you are also a dog owner interested in having your dog treated with their own adipose derived stem cells this is a great resource to get a first hand opinion from someone who has been through the procedure. She also has a blog on her site for other owners to post their stories, and share their stem cell experiences.

Have you had your dog treated?
Let Sarah know by posting on her blog.

  1. Teri Said,

Congratulations! Welcome to the dog blog world. I have been following your progress with stem cells for dogs in particular for a few years now. It is amazing that most vets do not know of this procedure and do not promote it for their customers.

I find the process will be far less expensive and less painful for a dog than a hip or elbow replacement and this is the wave of the future of medicine for animals. I have personally spoken to many dog owners and they would have stem cell treatments any day rather than the more expensive surgeries. Best of luck on your new site….I will continue to pop in and get informed on your new successes.
    Thanks

  2. Bob Said,

    Teri, thanks for your praise.
You are right that we are just beginning to get veterinarians equipped with training and knowledge to deliver this incredible technology. There have been over 2,500 veterinarians in the US that have taken our online continuing education course and are available in nearly every city in the US to provide guidance to dog owners about stem cell therapy. They are a busy group and it takes time to get the message out there! But we are passionate about our mission to make this available to any and every dog/cat that is in pain and need of cell therapy for their arthritis. Please visit often and I will do the same at your blog, http://www.Doghealth1.com

  3. Sarah Said,

Thank you so much for creating this very informative blog! It will be an excellent resource for pet-owners who are looking for ways to alleviate their pet’s arthritis pain. I firmly believe that stem cells are the wave of the future, and will be far more beneficial to animals than traditional surgical procedures.
